Pray For Seizures - Allison Update
Curt here. Too much details to update completely, but in the past 24 hrs Allison has had 4 seizures of varying severity and they (docs/neurologists) have admitted her today (around noon) to have a 24-48 hr video EEG. Whereas before as we were requesting prayers for no seizures, now bring it on baby! We hope she has one or more so that they can capture her EEG chart and other vitals and video all at the same time to help diagnose what is going on here. More updates to come as info and time permit.

Mayor of Funky Town
This little guy is always gross. I change his clothes at least 3 times a day if not more because of food, barf, snot, leaks, drool or a frothy combination. He is such a little boy. Ali was like a porcelain doll. Rarely was she gross and I didn't have to change her outfits nearly as much. We were cracking up at dinner tonight cause he was just sooo sticky and lovin it. His hair is sticking up due to the combo of food and snot in it.
Where We Go From Here...
Ali's MRI returned normal. Thank you God for answered prayer. She will remain on the meds. If she has anymore they may admit her and conduct a 24-48hr EEG and try to catch one. Other than that we go and just pray she don't have anymore and that if she does they can adjust the medication and get things straightened out. Thank you all for your prayers and concern for Ali and our family. We appreciate you so much. Continue to pray for protection for Ali from seizures and thank the Lord for his faithfulness.

MRI Went Great
The MRI went well yesterday. Ali didn't flinch getting the IV due to some numbing cream that worked really well for her. She went out really easily with the "Micheal Jackson" meds and came out immediately upon the removal of the IV. That really amazed me. It only took about 30 min and she didn't move a muscle so it was easy. Now 5 hours to hear the results. Any suggestion on how I can make that go super fast?

MRI Tomorrow
We have to be at the hospital at 7am for the MRI tomorrow. Please pray for an easy sedation with no complications, a successful picture and most of all clear results. We meet with the pediatric neurologist on Friday at 3:15pm for the results and to discuss the medication that she has been placed on.

Health Update - Allison
Curt here. Wish we had better news to report, but Ali had two seizure-type-events last evening and had to go to the hospital for awhile. They gave her a scrpit for meds and she started those last night. If you saw her this AM, you wouldn't even know anything had happened, as she feels and acts fine, but at a 'flip of the switch' she can have a seizure. MRI is next thu. with a follow-up meeting with ped. neurologist on Fri. Hopefully we'll learn more at these meetings and keep moving this situation forward. Hopefully the meds hold off any more events at least until we can meet next Fri. with doc. Thanks for your kind words of encouragement and prayers. curt and family.

More Prayers & More Unanswered Questions
Ali had another "seizure" on Thursday. I was right beside her when it happened. I caught her before she fell off the stool she was standing on and did everything I was supposed to. It only lasted about 45 sec and was "mild". If she was going to have one it was good timing cause we had an appointment with the neurologist the next day anyway. Basically they don't know why it is happening and what is causing it. An MRI is going to take place (I don't know when yet cause we couldn't schedule on Friday cause it was to late in the day) to rule out any brain abnormalities. Please pray that this comes back clean. I can deal with the seizures, they are mild, they don't hurt her etc. What I am really scared of now is something in her little brain that isn't right. Please pray for a normal MRI, pray for wisdom for the doctors to make a good diagnosis for her, pray for us as we (especially me) are scared out of our minds. I know in my mind that God has it all figured out for Ali and he will take care of all of us, but I am having trouble feeling it in my heart.

Great Fun for $3
I found a rollerskate set at TJ Maxx for $3 the other day. It had adjustable skates, knee pads and elbow pads. They are Star Wars, but who cares! She didn't that is for sure. She had a blast. She only fell once and no crying. These skates are going to get alot I miles I think. This is Ali's friend Elizabeth. She lives next door and they like to play together. Ali loves to pretend and it is cute watching them play house together. They take turns being the Mom. It is funny the things they both do as a "Mom".

X-treme Toddler Makeover
Ali got her big girl bed on Friday! The toddler bed is now waiting for Sawyer in the garage. She loves it. We got a new mattress set and I found a headboard on Craigs list. I sanded it down and repainted it to match her dresser. I redid her decorations, found her bedding and here you have it... Her first peak at the new set up...
She loves her new bed!

New Cumberland Lock & Dam
Curt @ Work
I haven't had any fish pictures up here lately. Today I went up to Geauga Co. to do some brook trout sampling. These are rare fishes in OH (common to the eastern US) and are only found in about 10 stream systems. This is a 10" fish and is quite big for an OH brook trout. It is at least 5 years old, if not significantly older.
