We Are...

Mullet

Allison is growing a mullet. Sadly she hates all accessories so hair bows to try to camouflage it are out of the question. Business in the front...

Teeth! Teeth! Teeth!

Each night before bed, Ali brushes her teeth. After yogurt, we say it is time to brush your teeth and she takes off running to the bathroom screaming, "teeth" over and over until she gets the brush in her mouth. I hope she is always this excited about personal hygiene!

A Tribute to Aunt Julie

My Aunt Julie was the best aunt. She was the most fun loving person I have ever known. She kept things interesting and helped see the humor in most any situation. Aunt Julie passed away in September, but it is a rare day when I don't think of her in some capacity. On holidays when the conversation started to fade and the turkey chemicals started to set in, it was usually Jul that reminded everyone how crazy our family was. I can remember several celebrations when she was taking "hits" off the whipped cream. No need for china and cloth napkins, as long as we had Aunt Julie and a can of whipped cream...we would have a great dinner with family. -Sara

Belated Mothers Day

Yesterday was Mother's Day, but I feel like I celebrated today. Ali was especially loving today. Well behaved and affectionate. Unsolicited hugs, kisses and giggles all day. I got to pick up my hairy daughter from the kennel today. I wasn't feeling too confident about the kennel on Friday when I dropped her off so I was excited to pick her up. She did fine. I love being a Mom!!!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Akron has a minor league ball club! It runs promotions several times a year for free games...you just have to do the savanger hunt to collect the tickets. It was a blast! Lots of room to spread out, a nice facility and lack of security which allowed me to sneak in snacks and drinks!

Ali clapped along with the crowd. She was having a blast yelling, "doggie" at the cat mascot.

You can't tell from the picture, but she made it all 9 inings...it was 10:10 p.m.!

A Visit to PA

Sometimes I think that my Pappy's chair doesn't move fast enough so I give it some help. This is a new friend that I made. She is a neighbor of all my grandparents. She came over and we ate cookies and blew bubbles!

"Bish!"

That is a Blueus Gillus from the family fishus maximus says the fish man to his daughter.

I just saw one...right in there!!!
