Turkey Trip 2010

I went down to a property in Pike Co. Ohio (near Beaver OH) to hunt spring turkey this past weekend. Ken, a buddy of mine from work, and his brother also were on the trip. It was a great time with good friends, good food, and some nice R&R; oh yeah, and great hunting! This place is a turkey hunter's paradise. I was lucky enough to harvest a turkey (a jake - last year's male) on Friday around 8:30 AM. Ken's brother, Jesse, also got a jake about 30 mins later. Ken had some great action, but wasn't able to connect with a long beard this year. Here is a pic of me and my bird. Thanks to Cory and Jess for the warm hospitality and hunting access!

Easter - Family Time

Unfortunatly we couldn't go to church cause both Ali and Curt had terrible colds. I didn't want us to pass on the love to other families and they felt horrible. We hung at home, grilled hot dogs for lunch and just enjoyed the special day. Our own egg hunt:

Easter - Stalking the Prey

The town we live in is great! They have a ton of fun family (free) activities. This was one...a huge egg hunt. Here is Ali anticipating the hunt. The chaos begins.

Easter - Too Young for a Hunting Licence

What a great Easter weekend. Mom & Dad (Miner) came to hang with us. Sawyer was too young to be allowed to participate in the community egg hunt so he got his fun in playing on the equipment. This kid loves to play! I have places to go...

Emily (my little sis) got this for Ali for Christmas. I love it! I wanted to take a picture of it before it get a Popsicle stain or something on it. This is the hair accessory organizer I made since I am making Beaner alot of hair bows. I am happy how it turned out. I love crafts!
